The CBVA runs tournaments for youth and adults at all levels of play from San Diego to Santa Cruz. CBVA tournaments begin the first weekend in March and run on a weekly basis through October. You must be a CBVA member to participate. Annual membership is $25 and runs Jan1st to Dec 31st. Major Youth Tournament: AAU Junior National Beach Volleyball Championships – July 11-12 2015
All AAU tournaments close online registration at NOON the day prior to the event EXCEPT for the West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games which close Sunday, July 19 at 7;00 PM. Some tournaments and specific divisions may fill prior to deadlines. Space may available the morning of the event beginning at 8:00 AM for walk-up registrations at a cost of $75 (for $60 tournaments), $65 (for $50 tournaments). No walk-up registration for the AAU National Championships, AAU Pan Pacific Championship, West Coast AAU Junior Olympic Games, AAU National Classic or AAU Best of the Beach tournaments.

Major Youth Tournament: The USAV Junior Beach Tour Championships
The USAV Junior Beach Tour offers tournaments to boys and girls ages 10 to 18 all over the country. The age divisions are 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U in Open and Club categories. Tournaments are 1-2 days with pool play and playoffs. Pools consist of 4-5 teams. Players referee the opponent’s games and coaching is allowed under specified guidelines. Each player receives a T-shirt. Uniforms are not required. The Molten Elite Beach Volleyball BV5000 will be used for all events.
Tournaments normally begin at 8 am local time and check-in begins at 7 a.m. Some locations may have space limitations or weather restrictions and starting times may differ, please check the individual event for times.
