Hayden Jones – Owner, Director and head coach

Hayden develops coaching resources for the International Volleyball Federation, teaches middle school PE in Huntington Beach California and is the owner of Golden Coast Beach Volleyball Club.

He is a former New Zealand National Beach Volleyball Champion, (2002) New Zealand King of the Beach (2000) and Asian Beach Volleyball Champion (2002).

His proudest professional achievement (above winning the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in 2002 as a player) was the completion of his beach volleyball drill book, which has been translated into 3 languages and adopted by the FIVB for their global development program. Hayden was also contracted by the FIVB to create instructional videos to accompany the drill book which feature on the FIVB website.

Haydens passion for development of all forms of beach volleyball was the driving force behind him establishing and presiding over New Zealands largest beach volleyball club from 2000 to 2005.

Hayden was a Secondary School Physical Education teacher back in New Zealand before he moved to California to live with his wife Tracy Lindquist in 2009.
