The Middle School Beach Volleyball League runs for 6 weeks starting January 21st and will culminate on the last night with the crowning of the middle school beach volleyball champions for winter of 2022.

Players interested must make sure that their playing partner for the league also signs up. The league is played in the 2 a side format.

Teams can be mixed gender, from different grade levels and can also be from different middle schools. They must however be attending middle school during the 2021/22 school year.

During the Friday night games each team will be placed with two other teams on a court (unless numbers dictate otherwise) and they will play against each other team once for a total of 2 games per night.

In a pool of 3 teams, any team not playing will be responsible for keeping track of the score of the game between the other two teams in their pool.

The first night of competition will be used for seeding teams for the remainder of the league, and from then on, dependent on the results of each game teams will either move up, down or stay in the same place for the following weeks games.

Any player who has a partner that does not show up on any particular night is permitted to find a replacement but any games played on that particular night will be counted as a loss. If a registered player sustains an injury, a replacement team mate is authorized, but the new team will only be eligible to contest for the league championship if the new team is formed before the start of week 4.

Because we only have 6 courts if we have more than 18 teams register it will necessitate an additional round of games from 5:00-6:00pm.

If a second round of games (starting at 5:00pm) is required, it will be announced on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram along with the teams that will start games at 5:00pm.
